Volkswagen Golf 1500 to Weber 34 ICH Conversion Kit.

If you own one of these cars with a Solex PICT carburettor, you are undoubtedly aware of the fact that that Solex is wearing quickly and reaching the end of its life.
This wear & tear, which is only natural, results in erratic idling, loss of power and increased fuel consumption while parts for the whole PICT range, bar the most essential gaskets and diaphragms, are virtually impossible to source nowadays.

Luckily, Weber and Webcon stepped in and created this conversion kit which does away with the troublesome Solex and replaces it with a brand new Weber 34 ICH for Weber's own production in their factory in Spain.

It is intended for the 1977 - 1980 Volkswagen Golf (and consequently also the Jetta) with the 1.457cc engine and a Solex PICT carburettor.

This conversion kit contains all the parts to replace the Solex PICT with a new Weber 34 ICH carburetor (including the ICH itself of course).

This Weber ICH is completely jetted to suit the VW 1500 engine.

As shown in the pictures, it comes with sundry parts to complete the conversion.

The original VW airfilter will fit the new Weber ICH so it will keep the "under bonnet" look as close to original as possible.
