After having been exposed to the elements and the detrimental influence of modern fuels for sometimes more than 50 years, this diaphragm, that commands the important secondary stage and throttle shaft, tends to give up the ghost.

If your diaphragm has lost its flexibility or is torn, then this is an original Solex replacement.
