Spacer (or isolator if your prefer that name) for Weber 30 DIC carburetors.

It is also suitable for variations of the DIC like the one made by Holley Europea.

The isolator prevents heat from the manifold sinking through to the carburetor with all adverse effects that that can have on the fuel and the running of the engine.

While these spacers, usually made of phenolic resin or a variant of Bakelite, are coming of age, they tend to crumble and fall apart.

The effect of very aggressive modern fuels doesn't do them any good either.

The only sensible solution is then replacing the isolator.

These spacers have a layer of Flexoid gasket paper on both sides and measure 6 mm in thickness including that gasket paper.

This spacer is NOT shown in the drawing of the Weber 30 DIC.
