Needle valve assembly for the Weber DMTC series carburetors.

This is a so-called "Needle Valve Assembly" as it is more than just the "needle".

The assembly, or set, is supplied as seen on the photograph here and consists of a base and a needle.

The base, that is screwed into the top cover, is drilled to a specific size or calibration and it is this that determines the flow of fuel.

The needle, with its typical pointed tip, slides into the base and is equipped with a spring-loaded ball and a bracket which allows it to be hooked onto the float.

The base is engraved with the calibration size.
