This is the choke spring retainer suitable for early Italian Weber DCOE carburetors ONLY.

This system was soon replaced by a separate emulsion tube and air corrector (numbers 62 and 74 in the drawing) which are NOT interchangeable with this particular version!

Consequently, this retainer is NOT used on the later Italian or Spanish versions.

The ridge on this version measures 9.85 mm in diameter.
