Weber DGAS and DGMS carburetor parts.
The Weber DGAS and DGMS is a series of carburetors of twin downdraft design.
Each barrel has its own throttle valve on a separate throttle shaft.
However the throttle shafts are coupled through toothed cogwheels and consequently open and close simultaneously.
The difference between the DGAS and DGMS is in the choke (or cold start system) operation.
The DGAS has an Automatically operated system there where the DGMS has a Manually operated choke system.
One more, but scarce, variation is the DGES which employs as Electrically operated choke system.
In some cases, these carburettors are equipped with Weber's LoVE system which effectively means an anti-stall device activated through a vacuum diaphragm.
This Low Vacuum Enrichment is usually NOT depicted in the drawings.
For a more elaborate explanation of the operation, maintenance, tuning and fault-diagnosis on these carburetors, we advise the Haynes Weber Carburetor Manual which you can find HERE.
Click HERE for an exploded view drawing of the Weber DGAS and DGMS carburetors.
The drawing will open in a new window.
You can then switch between the drawing and this page here as the numbers in the drawing match the number prefixes in the part descriptions on this page here.
So, as an example, number 12 in the drawing, is article "(12) Top Cover Gasket for Weber DGAS and DGMS carburetor 41705.080" on this page here.

These versions require different settings which you can find in THIS document.
